ABOUT ME

My Story

My fascination with complexity and transformation didn't begin in theory; it emerged through movement across cultures, systems, and identities.

Born and raised in Iran, my early work in innovation ecosystems showed me that organizations- like people-evolve through stages of emergence and growth. I quickly realized that true transformation is never just strategic or technological; it is deeply human, systemic, and cultural. This curiosity led me across France and Germany, where I immersed myself in multi-stakeholder environments and began chasing a central question: How do we navigate complexity when no single perspective can explain the whole?

I explored this through doctoral research on multilevel decision-making in cross-cultural environments, and later applied it to strategic innovation, organisational development, and leadership transformation.

What I Do Today

Today, I work at the intersection of leadership, decision-making, and organisational transformation. I partner with organisations to:

  • Assess: Evaluate leadership, decision-making and judgement capability within complex systems.

  • Develop: Create targeted development experiences for leaders and high-potential talent.

  • Design: Construct talent and leadership frameworks that drive performance, innovation, and future readiness.

My Philosophy

My work is grounded in a simple observation: Transformation rarely fails because of strategy. It slows down when decisions become fragmented, and when organizations struggle to act on what they already know.

I view leadership not just as an individual skill, but as a capability shaped by context and system design. By connecting evidence-based diagnostics with systemic development, I help organizations unlock real, sustainable outcomes.

My name is Sara Safari. In Persian, Safari means traveller-and perhaps that is why I see transformation not as a destination, but as a continuous journey of becoming.
